Clip Studio Practice: Ms. Marvel

More Clip Studio Pro drawing. Still mostly doing this to practice my inking. I’ll go through the process steps then there is an animate gif at the end for your viewing pleasure.

Rough sketch for pose. This time I didn’t leave any missing body parts.
Started inking over that layer, but decided it was a little too rough. So I just “blued” the 1st ink layer and overlapped it over the first to make a more fleshed out rough.
Inks. Tried using more large areas of black instead of tedious cross hatching.
Hide the blue layers. Also, I apparently added that glowy fist on the wrong layer. That was actually done much later.
Slathering of crappy paint.
Used the auto-paint feature. Then cleaned it up afterwards. Which I should have done on a separate layer so I could show what I did. I duplicated the new color layer to darken everything, then added some shadows, deleted with the airbrush tool parts of the top layer to allow the brightness through, then added some glowy highlights.
Final step, just threw down a gradient background. Because real backgrounds take work.
Here’s the gif. This is how most people probably imagine this process. Blank page to finished drawing in about8 seconds.
