So I have two great loves from the time I was a kid. Comic books. And D&D. I had planned to run a whole Mutants & Masterminds campaign that overlapped the DC Universe with the Demonlords of the Abyss. The obvious match-ups in a DC vs D&D Abyss would be:
Superman Vs Orcus, Wonder Woman Vs Lolth, Aquaman Vs Dagon, Hawkman (and Hawkgirl) Vs Pazuzu, and Green Lantern Vs Demogorgon. Tell me you wouldn’t buy that comic! I’d totally make it if all of those characters on both sides weren’t jealously-guarded copyrighted content….
I’m pretty sure everyone knows Superman, the Last Son of Krypton. Maybe fewer people know of Orcus, Demon Prince of the Undead, who has been a staple of the D&D Multiverse since 1st edition. Who would win in this match up?
