So, it probably seems like that alcohol affected Superior Man very quickly. Well, with his Superior Fast Metabolism, it went through his bloodstream in record time. All in all, he will go from incoherent rambling drunk to hungover in under two minutes, so this is just a temporary reprieve from that lethal does of alcohol. It got him dizzy enough to let Turbo Fist get in a good shot. Although, all that drunkness really soaked up some of the impact. It’s like Drunken Master Kung-Fu.

I make many D&D references in my strips, but in the TSR Game Boot Hill (3rd edition), they had an awesome mechanic for drunkness. Every two drinks you consume (either a full beer or shot of whiskey) you take a -1 penalty on your Coordination and Observation stats. But every four drinks increases your Strength stat by 1. You really want to drink first THEN bar fight (also, Coordination was not used in the game for fisticuffs, so there was no detriment to being blind drunk in a fight… just a gun fight).
