Who could have possibly predicted that getting yourself drunk first wouldn’t help you win a fight?
For those of you that are fans of tabletop RPGs, I would like to point out that the 3rd edition Boot Hill game by TSR had probably the most elegant rules for handling intoxication EVER. Every two drinks (either 1 beer or 1 whiskey) reduces your Coordination by 1 pt. But every 4 drinks RAISES your Strength by 1 pt. Awesome, right?
That’s almost as cool as the Superbabes RPG which no one should ever play. Having a low Intelligence stat actually adds to your Health, and having a high Attractiveness lowers your health (because you are dainty). Aside from that, the game was a major loser-burger. Boot Hill though is awesome.
