Amazing Comic Con Aloha 2020

Recap: For me personally it went terribly. But it was the first comic con I’ve attended so there was that at least. I sold exactly zero prints of my artwork at the 3-day event. I wasn’t expecting to make a killing as a 100% unknown artist with no name recognition or work history to speak of. But I was hoping that at least a few peeps would be intrigued enough to buy something. It wasn’t until the final hours of the last day that a few people managed to stop by my table long enough to actually look through my work and give me some encouragement. The only positive was that I passed out about a hundred business cards for my webcomics, so maybe that’ll generate an extra 3 cents or so in GoogleAds revenue.

But enough of me whining. Everyone really only cares about the cosplay.

Nice Cardboard Starscream suit. This was actually the very first cosplayer I saw in the Con.
Aloha Deadpool. The X-logo board shorts were a nice touch.
I just loved this guy’s shirt.
UTINNI!
Watchmen series cat.
The camera angle on this was terrible, but this kid’s Doc Ock arms were really long and well done. Nice LED lights at the ends for extra effect.
Mandalorian/Lone Wolf and Cub mash-up.
Old school Iron Fist and Doctor Strange
Marvel Universe Ares the God of War. The musculature built into that suit was impressive and anatomically correct, even down to the veins in the arms.
This scout trooper from the 501st legion riled up the crowd by punching this Baby Yoda.
New Cap. Which begs the question, at the end of Endgame, Steve Rogers gives Sam his shield, but what happened to Mjolnir?
Asgardian Royal Family.
I don’t know who this dude is but cool costume. That’s my girlfriend standing behind it ready to snap its neck if he stirs up a ruckus.
