Generic Kung-Fu Superhero Sidekick of course new about the fail-safe. Which is why he was stalling for Sticky Buns to get back upstairs before letting Kickman bust a foot on Mr. Luthor. It never gets old outsmarting the super genius.
And as you can see, he REALLY wanted to be in that Avenger’s Victory pose. I think it’s safe to say that the battle is won once the pose has been struck.
